Pines at Sebago Lake welcomes you to each of the four seasons in
the heart of Maine’s picturesque countryside. Summer activities are too numerous to list and include golfing, water-skiing, fishing, antiquing or simply lounging in the sun. We are just minutes from a public boat launch and beach on Sebago Lake and within modest walking distance to Sebago Lake's Best Kept Secret. Sebago Lake, Maine’s second largest lake (47 square miles of waterway) offers some of the best swimming, boating and fishing in Maine and New England. Pineland Farms, located about 25 minutes away is home to one of People Places & Plants magazine's top ten public flower gardens. There are also tennis courts, walking and hiking trails all in the surroundings of a working farm! Fall foliage transforms the hills into a blaze of colors seen even more brilliantly through the crisp and sparkling autumn air. Be sure to take a ride onto Quaker Ridge Road in Casco to savor the view of the White Mountains and Mount Washington or walk atop Hacker's Hill to view an even more spectacular panorama. Use the White Pines at Sebago Lake as your home base as you visit Fryeburg Fair and be sure to stop at one of the local apple orchards as well. In the winter, skiers find many splendid facilities for both alpine and cross-country skiing. We are located just 25 minutes from Shawnee Peak and less than an hour from the slopes at Sunday River. If you're looking for snowmobiling - it is unsurpassed in Maine! As a member of the Maine Snowmobile Association, we’ll have complementary maps of Maine Snowmobile Trails for you. Once the lakes and ponds are frozen and safe, it's just a short ride to the trails of Raymond, Casco and Naples or you can access ITS trails in nearby Bridgton and go to points far and beyond. Click here for detailed information on accessing the trails from the White Pines. Don’t forget the ice fishing! Watch the flags go up at the annual Derbyfest on Sebago which has proven to be a hit year after year. Spring in Maine is a magnificent experience. Once the snow and ice melt away and the flowers and trees begin to show their green, biking along back roads or hiking beside lakes or in surrounding hills provide a true experience of recreation and relaxation. For the fishing enthusiast, Spring marks the time to fish for land-locked salmon which abound in Sebago Lake awaiting your lure and line. At your request, we can recommend a premier guide service that has the knowledge and experience that it takes to fish a large body of water such as Sebago. Nearby A shopper’s dream come true! Easy access to L.L. Bean and the dozens of Freeport Shopping Outlets, the Outlets in Kittery, Maine and North Conway, New Hampshire -- each within an hour's drive. Not to mention the fabulous local merchants that stock supplies of quality handmade and Maine Made, America's Best products. Looking for ocean? Portland's Historic Old Port and Ocean Beaches are just 30 minutes away. Here are some of the merchants that are either in the neighborhood or within a ten minute drive.
